Some Quad Cities Area Libraries Form New Consortia
20 area libraries have formed a separate group named RiverShare Libraries. Colona patrons will still be able to check out books in person at those libraries, but they will need to fill out a brief application the first time they visit one of the member libraries. They will not be able to place holds on items from those libraries, however. Patrons of those libraries will also still be able to use their cards to check out materials at the Colona Libary, but they will no longer be able to place holds on our materials.
VIDEOGAMES ARE HERE!
You must be 18 or older to checkout games or DVDs, so be sure to bring Mom or Dad along.

HENRY COUNTY LAUNCHES LEGAL SELF-HELP WEBSITE
The legal self-help center is a place to help you learn how to represent
yourself in court in simpler legal matters when you cannot find an attorney
to represent you. The site focuses on some of the more commonly sought
services, such as simple divorces, landlord/tenant matters, or domestic
violence orders of protection. In addition to providing information,
you can often print out necessary court forms and documents, which will need
to be filed with the Circuit Clerk's Office in the courthouse. The link to
the website is:
http://henry.illinoislegalaid.org. If you do not have access to a
computer or the Internet at home, the library has PCs available for public
use. Please note that no legal advice is provided.
The Colona Public Library now subscribes to OverDrive®!
